The backblast to the Dems ambush on the President at the King funeral,
is becoming enormous as Dems are running for cover. Why did the
journalists/Democrats think this could hurt the President? Did they not
learn from the reaction from the Wellstone Memorial that created the
Republican majority in the Senate, or are Democrats/Journalists living in a
bubble? One Democrat Senator said, "I think we got set-up, this is so
Rovian."

No, it isn't, and nobody is running for cover.

Try not lying for one single day. It can change your life.

What would you right-wing radical extremist nutjobs have said at the funeral
of Jesus Christ?

"He was a great guy. A snappy dresser who could build a heck of a table.
And could he make wine!"

They are living in their own reality, thinking if they call the shots,
they'll follow.

The shots aren't following, and the "republicans" are refusing to
acknowledge their ineffectiveness.

They cannot compete with , say, Clinton, on his own terms, so they
choose an opposite reaction, that of the unintellectual, simple male,
the one who does not compromise.

It has failed miserably, domestically and internationally.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are left to contain the mess these butts are
making.

I'm amazed that the Republicans are being so successful in cultivating
this type of hubris in the hard left. It's kind of creepy. Like being a
Pittsburgh Steeler and knowing the ref's are going to give you the
game.
